<div><strong>Metropolitan Section PGA Foundation</strong></div>
<div>The Metropolitan Section PGA Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization that serves as the charitable arm of the Metropolitan Section PGA, one of the forty-one geographical regions that comprise the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA of America). Established in 1975, the organization's mission is to promote the goodwill and growth of the game of golf by positively impacting the lives of junior golfers, veterans, and those who are underserved by the game. They focus their efforts under three founding pillars of Youth Golf, Military, and Inclusion.</div>

<div>On Monday, September 15th, GBA is teaming up with the Met PGA Foundation for the first Operation Birdies event to benefit PGA HOPE. GBA Co-Founder, Adam Laird, will play 72 holes of golf, trying to make as many birdies as possible to raise money for PGA HOPE.</div>
<div>PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), is a six-week adaptive golf program offered free of charge by PGA Professionals that utilizes golf as a rehabilitation tool to improve our veterans' quality of life by enhancing their mental, social, physical, and emotional well-being. The program is open to all veterans with an emphasis on serving those with physical and emotional disabilities who would benefit the most from such an initiative. Since 2015, the Met PGA has served over 1,500 veterans and your support will help us impact the lives of thousands more.</div>
